In praise of those who refuse to trumpet platitudes

Author Pete Hamill had a great piece in the September issue of Fast Company on weasel words in politics.

His point? We have outsourced our voice to speechwriters and political handlers, and have lost the courage to say what we really mean.

We couldn't agree more.
